SOUTHFIELD KAPPA LEAGUE

The Southfield Kappa League is a community based organization of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. comprised of young men from the Tri-County metropolitan area high schools, with specific emphasis on leadership development and self motivation for academic, and career achievement.

Southfield Kappa League members, through club oriented activities, perform projects that will expose them to the planning, execution, and reporting of ideas and development of good leadership characteristics.

The fundamental purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is achievement; therefore the primary charge of the Southfield Alumni's Kappa League Committee is to help young men achieve worthy goals for themselves and to make constructive contributions to their communities when leadership roles become their responsibility.

All activities and programs of the Southfield Kappa League are comprised from one or more of the following phases of the Guide Right Kappa Instructional League Program.

  1. Self- Identity
  2. Training
  3. Competition
  4. Social
  5. Health Education

Through the assistance of family, community, as well as the Fraternity, has been essential in proving the experiences that are necessary for realizing these ends. The Southfield Alumni Chapter continually commits itself to the task of helping young men who will be future leaders.
